Description
The Spirafix 50mm Ground Anchor AC Type has a threaded head, allowing for a M16 threaded connection.
Installation Method
Ensuring the anchor head is protected with the SA493 – 50mm hammer cap, lightly tap the anchor into the ground using a lump/sledgehammer.
Mechanised equipment can also be used when installing multiple anchors to optimise installation. The anchor twists in the ground with each impact, creating a secure connection point.
Drive anchor into the ground using impact-driven equipment.
To remove, use a tool that can interface with the 28mm hex head, such as a ratchet, spanner, pipe wrench, and the Spirafix removal tool.
