Description
The Spirafix 50mm Ground Anchor AC Type has a threaded head, allowing for a M16 threaded connection.
Installation Method
Ensuring the anchor head is protected with the SA493 – 50mm hammer cap, lightly tap the anchor into the ground using a lump/sledgehammer.
When installing multiple anchors to optimise install mechanised equipment can also be used. With each impact, the anchor twists in the ground, creating a secure connection point.
Drive anchor into the ground using impact-driven equipment.
To remove, use a tool that can interface with the 28mm hex head, such as a ratchet, spanner, pipe wrench, and, of course, the Spirafix removal tool.
